This Saturday, March 10, is the first 2018 workshop in the series of Laʻau Lapaʻau workshops hosted by Hui Mālama Ola Nā ʻŌiwi and led by Poʻokela Ikaika Dombrigues. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the ancient Hawaiian healing practices of Laʻau Lapaʻau, Hoʻoponopono, Lomilomi Ha Ha, and Laʻau Kahea.

The workshop is the first in a series of five offered across the island. The workshops provide a connection to ancient Hawaiian healing practices, sharing rich cultural knowledge and encouraging the preservation of traditional Hawaiian health remedies. Workshops are free and open to the public.

  • Puna – Saturday, June 23, 2018, Pahoa Community Center • 9am – 3pm

Light refreshments are provided and participants are encouraged to bring their lunch.
